Just as promised, this post will be about Hallstatt & Poland. I am so sorry it came a little late, but now I am finally ready to put these photos up.

HALLSTATT

I always thought I liked traveling to busy cities rather than to slow-paced countryside.. until I visited Hallstatt and this place left me in awe.

I took the local train from Vienna to Hallstatt, and then took a small ferry across the lake to the town itself. There was still bits of snow left on the mountains, which added more beauty to the scenery.

a little tip for getting to Hallstatt:
if you are going to get to Hallstatt from Vienna train station, please do check the ferry times because there are only a few trips a day! (so you don't get stranded in Hallstatt train station just because you missed the ferry)

POLAND
📍Krakow

We tasted various polish food and I actually liked all of them. Most of the restaurants are called "milkbar" - we had dumplings almost everyday but I forgot to take pictures of them sorry!

We also took the bus from Krakow to Tatra National Park in Zakopane - it was unforgettable!Because we went on a 3-hour hike when we barely had any sleep, but the view of (frozen) Morskie Oko was amazing.

the hike was SUPER tiring but the view along the way was great!

we were standing on a frozen lake, can you believe it!!!!???

I miss my girls so terribly
